Refund Policy – Tripitsu

At Tripitsu, we prioritize transparency and fairness while balancing the interests of our travelers and partners. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and modifications across our services.

Payment Terms 

1. Deposits
To confirm your booking, a 50% pre deposit is required based on the type of tour:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: A budget-friendly option. Not eligible for any refund in case of cancellation.
  • Refundable Deposit: A higher upfront cost but eligible for refunds as per the cancellation terms below.

2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to the trip start date. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation without a refund. 

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are based on the number of days before the trip start date and apply as follows:

 45+ days    100% refund   Includes refundable deposits. 
 31–44 days 75% refund Deposits may be forfeited. 
 15–30 days 30% refund Partial refund on the tour amount only. 
 0–14 days No refund Non-refundable due to supplier commitments.

Note: Customized itineraries, luxury packages, or services involving specific hotels and activities may have stricter refund conditions. These exceptions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Special Offers and Promotions
  • Refund policies for tours booked under special discounts or promotions may vary. Terms for such bookings will be outlined in the specific promotional offer details.
Modifications
  • Date Changes: Allowed up to 30 days prior to the trip start date, subject to availability and a potential fee.
  • Name Changes: Permitted free of charge up to 15 days before the trip start date.
Force Majeure & Special Considerations

In cases of unforeseen events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics, Tripitsu will work with suppliers to offer the following:

  • Partial credits for future bookings.
  • Trip rescheduling (subject to supplier availability and flexibility).

Tripitsu will strive to minimize inconvenience but cannot guarantee full refunds under such circumstances.

Refund Process
  1. Refund requests must be submitted via email or WhatsApp to the Tripitsu support team.
  2. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of approval.
  3. Payment gateway charges or currency conversion fees, if applicable, will not be refunded.
