Tripitsu USA, LLC Terms & Conditions

 Welcome to Tripitsu USA, LLC (“Tripitsu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://tripitsu.com (the “Site”) and all travel services we provide within Sri Lanka (the “Services”). By accessing the Site, making a booking, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Tripitsu organizes and provides travel arrangements solely within Sri Lanka. We do not provide or sell any travel services for transportation to or from Sri Lanka. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • Bookings may be made directly or via other travel agents. When a travel agent books on your behalf, it remains the responsibility of the Lead Traveler to confirm all details are correct.
  • A non-refundable booking fee of 10% of the total trip price is required at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days after booking, or 14 days prior to arrival in Sri Lanka, whichever is sooner.
  • For trips booked less than 14 days before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
  • Bookings are not accepted less than 5 business days prior to arrival in Sri Lanka.
  • Payments must be made in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.
  • Prices are subject to change until confirmed by Tripitsu in writing.
  • The Lead Traveler must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for ensuring all information is accurate.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • The booking fee is non-refundable.
  • For trips cancelled after additional payments have been made, the following cancellation fees apply unless otherwise stated:
    • 60 days or more before departure: 10% of total trip price
    • 30–59 days before departure: 30% of total trip price
    • 14–29 days before departure: 50% of total trip price
    • Less than 14 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total trip price

Tripitsu Cancellations

  • Tripitsu reserves the right to cancel any booking due to safety, operational, or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • In case of cancellation by Tripitsu, you will be offered:
    • Alternative travel dates, or
    • An alternative trip of similar value, or
    • A full refund of payments made to Tripitsu (excluding non-recoverable costs from third-party providers)

 Tripitsu is not responsible for costs such as airfare, visas, or other personal expenses outside our direct services.

4. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes requested after booking are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Tripitsu reserves the right to make minor changes to itineraries for reasons beyond our control, such as weather, political events, cancellations by third parties, or health advisories.

5. Travel Insurance

Tripitsu does not provide travel insurance and strongly recommends all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, personal liability, loss of luggage, and personal effects.

6. Health, Safety, and Travel Requirements

  • Travelers are responsible for meeting all health, visa, passport, and other entry requirements for Sri Lanka.
  • Tripitsu is not liable for denied entry into Sri Lanka or missed portions of your trip due to failure to meet these requirements.
  • Participation in tours may involve physical activity. All travelers must confirm that they are medically and physically fit to participate.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Tripitsu acts as an intermediary between you and third-party suppliers (hotels, transport providers, guides, etc.).
  • We are not responsible for acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party suppliers.
  • Tripitsu shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or expense arising from:
    • Acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, civil unrest, government restrictions, or other force majeure events
    • Personal injury, illness, or property damage
    • Errors in published information or schedules
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tripitsu’s liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the services in question.

8. Privacy

Your use of our Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our Site—including text, graphics, logos, and images—is the property of Tripitsu or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved:

  • First, through good faith negotiations between the parties.
  • If unresolved, through binding arbitration in [Your State] under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Amendments

Tripitsu reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our Site, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Safety and Personal Responsibility

Travelers acknowledge and agree that all travel involves inherent risks. Tripitsu is not responsible or liable for any injury, illness, accident, death, property damage, loss, or delay resulting from any act or omission of any third party, including transportation providers, accommodation suppliers, guides, or any other independent contractors. Furthermore, Tripitsu shall not be liable for any injury or loss that results from the traveler’s own acts, omissions, negligence, or failure to comply with local laws, safety instructions, or medical recommendations. Travelers assume full responsibility for their personal safety and well-being during the trip.

14. Payment Processing

All credit card and other payments for bookings with Tripitsu are processed securely via PayPal. By making a payment, you agree to comply with PayPal’s terms and conditions. Tripitsu does not store or handle your credit card details directly.
